SALVATION

God loves you and desires to be in a relationship with you.  He has a plan for your life and wants nothing more than to set you free from the brokenness of sin.   None of us are perfect, we all have fallen short and are in need of forgiveness.

We can't earn salvation; rather,  we are saved by God's grace through acceptance of God's son, Jesus Christ. God loved us so much that He gave His only son as a sacrifice for our sin. Jesus died in our place so that our relationship with God could be restored.    All we have to do is recognize that we are flawed,  acknowledge that Jesus willingly took our punishment and ask for forgiveness.  Accepting the most precious gift that has ever been extended.

If you feel that you are ready to receive this gift and accept Jesus into your heart, then all you need to do is say the below prayer:
"Dear God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge today that I am a sinner and that I am sorry for the life I have lived. I believe that your Son Jesus died on a cross for my sins and He rose again so that I may have a new life. Please forgive me for my past. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen."

If you said this prayer and meant it with your heart, then welcome to God's family! To follow up with your commitment, spend time with God each day. It doesn't have to be long, just make it a daily habit to read the Bible and pray.
Feel free to contact us to tell us about your new decision, to ask for prayer or any questions that you may have. We would be happy to help you!

WATER BAPTISM

Water baptism is a symbolic step Jesus commanded of new believers.

It's an important event in the life of the believer, as it confirms the changing power of Jesus Christ and a new identity in Him.
(Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Romans 6:4)

This process does not save a person, but serves as a public testimony signifying the death of an individual's sinful past and their new birth in Jesus Christ.

In our church, baptism is accomplished by immersion in water and is reserved for older children and adults who have made  a conscious decision to accept salvation in Christ.
